I am 5'7\\\" and usually wear a 10-12 US dress pant size, but I purchased this in a Large as I wanted a more loose fit. It is a very nice material that is not sheer/see-through at all. Comfy sleeves at a modest length, and the midi skirt length fell at my mid-calf. It is a very comfortable material that is breathable and was perfect on a hot summer day. And it has pockets! They are large enough to fit a cellphone. Highly recommend - although I would probably have gone for a Medium to have a more fitted shape. Kept it anyway, as I really think it will be a nice dress to use for work.

I didn’t expect these dresses to work out for me but I love them! Fabric feels good. Heavy enough to hang well but not be hot. Love the pockets and functional buttons. I’m 5’7” and the L hits mid-calf. I was tempted to size up to XL because sometimes the bust is tight, but the Large is perfect. Hopefully they hold up through the wash!

I was worried about ordering this dress in a print, but the blue striped print is fantastic. My favorite dress of the 3 I ordered!

It's a great teacher dress. You can layer it up easily with a tee or tank if you're cold, and toss on a denim or other jacket. It's best friends with a cardigan. It's enamored of sandals, warm tights and booties, or platform sneakers. Buy several in different colors, it's a classic.
